Summer lunch at
Cornelius Seafood Restaurant
During the summer season, we offer lunch at Holmen. This is a more informal seafood experience than the evening's meteorological menu, but with the same focus on ingredients from the sea, seasonality, and quality.
Summer lunch is served on Fridays and Saturdays from May 8 until the end of August. The guest boat departs from Bergen at 11:30 a.m., returning from Cornelius Seafood Restaurant at 3:00 p.m. Arrival in Bergen at approximately 3:30 p.m.
Out here on Holmen, nature and local ingredients set the scene for the meal. The trip through the archipelago, the proximity to the fjord, and the changing West Coast weather are all part of the experience, before lunch is served in the restaurant upon arrival.
Menu and price including boat transport
The summer lunch is served as a social sharing menu at the table. A rich selection of seafood is presented for sharing, with a variety of both cold and hot dishes based on seasonal ingredients.
The menu changes throughout the summer depending on what's available and what the sea around us has to offer. Dishes may include shellfish, fish, and other seafood prepared with respect for both tradition and modern techniques.
The meal ends with a seasonal dessert.

Seafood platter can be ordered as an addition to lunch.
Here, small samples of seafood are served, prepared with inspiration from Norwegian traditions such as salting, drying, and smoking. The plate highlights different flavors and preparation methods from the Norwegian coast.
