From intimate rooms for small groups to spacious premises for larger parties – at Cornelius Seafood Restaurant, you are literally sitting by the sea.

All our venues have their own outdoor areas and their own unique atmosphere, but what they all have in common is their proximity to the sea, the views and the setting that makes the experience complete, whether you are planning a conference, a celebration or a very special dinner.

The surface

Space for up to 120 guests

Overflaten is located on the second floor of the main building. The venue is ideal for both conferences and parties. The design combines modern and rustic elements, and large floor-to-ceiling windows give a feeling of being very close to the sea and nature. Overflaten has its own bar, gas fireplace, and private exit to the terrace.

The Sea Salon

Space for up to 60 guests

The Sea Lounge is our main restaurant, located on the first floor of the main building. The room is mostly used for individual guests, but it can also be rented for larger parties. The lights in the sea allow you to sit at your table and watch the activity on the seabed.

The float

Space for up to 36 guests

Flottøren is located on the north side, on the second floor of the main building, with beautiful views of Sotra and the approach to Bergen. The venue has a modern design and a private balcony, and is very well suited for both conferences and smaller parties.

Vip-Nip

Space for up to 25 guests

Vip-Nip is a popular venue for smaller groups. It is affiliated with Havsalongen, but is located on the north side of Holmen, with beautiful views of Sotra and the approach to Bergen. The venue has large sliding doors that can be opened completely when the weather permits. Here you can practically sit on the quayside and enjoy your dinner.

The storm

Space for up to 24 guests

Utværet, on the ground floor of Glasshuset, is a rustic and cozy venue, ideal if you are looking for a more informal atmosphere. The venue is located on the quay with large sliding doors that can be opened if the weather permits. Utværet has its own boathouse kitchen and bar.
Utværet is open from May to September.

The Cut

Space for up to 50 guests

Skjæret is located on the second floor of Glasshuset. Here, we can open up both the walls and ceiling and serve outdoors when the weather permits. Skjæret has an informal and relaxed atmosphere in a rustic and maritime setting.
Skjæret is open from May to September.
